Getting a License: Lee County Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. 335-2273 Cost is $88.50 cash (no personal checks). The License is valid for 60 days. Bride and Groom-to-be both need to appear in person. and both will need a valid photo ID (a driver's license is fine) as well as provide your Social Security numbers. Florida does not require a blood test or waiting period unless you are a Florida Resident. Floridians must wait 3 days after getting their license before they can marry. Weddings may be performed by a Clergy member, Notary Public, member of the Judiciary or Clerk of the Court.
